Milton Abbas in Dorset

A large lake occupies part of the estate at the lower end of the valley, which slopes down from the Abbey. Because this does not have public access it is a haven for wildlife and many species of waterfowl. It can however be viewed in places from the public footpath leading up to the Abbey.
