About Becky Falls
Becky Falls is a romantic beauty spot hidden in the countryside close to the old town of Bovey Tracey. The spot is noted for its clear brook waters tumbling some 70 feet over a jumble of boulders, often resulting in tree fringed pools, gorgeous for cooling hot feet!
Visitors have been coming to this lovely place since the beginning of the 20th century. The countryside is lush and very beautiful with wonderful woodland walks, places to discover rare plants, flowers and species of moorland wildlife including ponies and grey faced sheep.
There is a falls viewing platform, boulder clambering, wildlife discovery trails and birds of prey which includes rescued owls. Visitors will also find a local craft and gift shop, a cafe for refreshments and plenty of shaded picnic spots.
Becky Falls lies amidst the richly rewarding windswept heights of Dartmoor, an area covered with gorse and bracken, which often gives way to a landscape of weird rock formations, and to some of the prettiest villages in Devon.
