About Orchard Mews

The Orchard Mews apartment is located on Southmoor Farm, close to the village of Hawkchurch in South East Devon. This peaceful and secluded apartment is new to the holiday letting season. Furnished in modern style, the fully carpeted L-shaped sitting room is cosy with a wood burning stove, Italian soft leather sofa, large flat screen television and oak dining furniture.
The carpeted bedroom has a roomy king size bed, pine furniture and another flat screen television for relaxed viewing.
The kitchen is complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, electric cooker and microwave.
The bathroom has both bath and walk in shower, heated towel rail, toilet and hand basin.
Heating is by wood burner with ample supply of logs and convector wall heaters. Electricity is supplied my meter (£1 coins).
The garden area with stunning views is laid to grass with picnic table and brick BBQ.
Southmoor Farm has over 40 acres of land and apart from the private gardens, the majority remains untouched (apart from grass maintenance).
The result is acres of secluded 'wild' areas including woodland, meadows, ponds and streams for you to enjoy - nature at its best. Apart from being a birdwatchers paradise, we can boast a multitude of wildlife including dear and fox etc, in fact your own nature reserve. The Axminster Estuary for bird watchers is only 5 miles away.
The very attractive village of Hawkchurch is within 2 miles, Axminster less than 3 miles and Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast is within 6 miles.
