A nicely manipulated image Mark, with a somewhat 'supernatural' sky, which suits the mood well

A very strong image here Mark, bags of atmosphere and the pwer of the shots echoes the power of the castle overlooking it's surrounds.

Hi, thanks for your interest. The sky was there I just bought it out. It had rained all day, the clouds were low for most of the day. I didn't fancy driving home on the M1 in rush hour. I drove to the back of Bolsover as it was a shot I always wanted to do. It was still raining when I pulled up so, I took the shot from my car just as the sun broke through the clouds.

Well done, you have made this into a dramatic image with that super light!

You have made this look a bit scary. It was not like this when I was evacuated during the war to a house right next to this castle thank goodness or I would have probably screamed my head off.

I loved seeing this picture. I was born in the house next to where the photo was taken. This was almost the view from my bedroom window as a child. If you drive a few feet further you would have passes the house I was born and lived in until I was 8!
