That is an incredible work of art! Any idea of the name of the sculptor? Is it marble or alabaster? Thanks for the great picture!

The statue is the work of Rafaelle Monti, an Italian, who created the work in 1847. I don't know whether it's made of marble or alabaster. In either case, it's a wonderful work and featured in the latest version of "Pride and Prejudice."
