About River Cottage - Keswick

This recently purchased property is undergoing a total refurbishment this winter to ensure an exceptional cottage is available for you from April 2014. Further photos will become available as soon as the works are completed.
Situated in a quiet area of the town, just a three minutes walk to the centre of town with its own parking, River Cottage is the perfect base for exploring Keswick and the Lake District. The cottage enjoys stunning mountain views and a perfect riverside location.
This beautiful detached cottage has been designed for your comfort. Settle down into the deep cushioned settees, enjoy the fire in the sitting room and totally unwind whilst looking at the view.
Of course all essentials of modern life are provided as you can access wifi, enjoy full Sky television and watch a range of DVDs.
A collection of books and jigsaws are also available for you to enjoy during your stay.
The stylish kitchen has everything you would need, including a fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washer / dryer. Attention to detail and quality equipment is standard.
Outside there is a mature garden featuring its own monkey puzzle tree and with seating so you can sit, relax and enjoy the views with the river going by. Will you see the red squirrel, rabbits or the heron?
River Cottage has two bedrooms. The master double overlooking the river has a king-size bed whilst the second room can be made up as either super-king or a twin room as required. This makes it perfect for two couples or a family of four. Both bedrooms have a television and all our beds are fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets and individually styled bedding. All guests are provided with soft and fluffy bath towels for use during their stay.
The master bathroom features a double touchstone oval shaped bath, whilst the second bathroom features a drench shower for those wanting an invigorating start to the day. Bath robes are available for you to use during your stay.
The cottage is just a three minute level walk from the town centre. For a cottage enjoying stunning mountain views and a perfect riverside location then this is the ideal place for your stay.
