This 18th Century cottage lies in a quiet, unspoilt location, with Whinlatter Forest on the doorstep and only 3 miles from Keswick.
Tucked away amidst forest and fells, Comb Beck is a charming old stone cottage with a splendid outlook onto its own terraced garden, which runs down to the beck, tumbling in its boulder strewn bed. The garden enjoys views towards Skiddaw.
There are superb walks, or cycles, directly from the cottage to the lakes and fells, or through the forest to Whinlatter Visitor Centre, and beyond.
This 18thC cottage comprises of:- Living room with wood burning stove, fully fitted kitchen with slate worktops, the slate floor has underfloor heating, porch with hooks for hanging coats and a shoe rack for boots. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one double one twin, bathroom with slate flooring with underfloor heating, bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin
