About The County Hotel
Whilst still retaining the decor and atmosphere of the splendid Georgian era, the County hotel has every modern amenity. The hotel remains a popular stopover for those travelling between England and Scotland. The County hotel is a famous listed building in the heart of the city centre, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, our Gallerie restaurant offers a choice of a la carte and ‘table d'hote’ menus, complemented by a fine selection of wines and liqueurs. Adjacent to the restaurant, the Portland Residents Lounge Bar is the place to relax before or after your meal. As an alternative to the restaurant, you may prefer to sample our bar menu in the relaxed atmosphere of JR's Bar & Diner.
