Description

Scandale 9

Finally reached the slopes of Scandale Head. Ambleside can be seen at the end of the path along Scandale with Windermere behind. Just below us is the diminutive Scandale Tarn and to the right the ridge that separates Scandale from the Fairfield Horseshoe. The plateau on the right leading to High Pike and Low Pike eventually leading down to High Sweden Bridge and Ambleside. Still got quite a bit of climbing to reach the plateau....
