With the tell tale signs of afterbirth on the track nearby, we reckoned this little lamb had not long been born, as its nearby mother looked like she was about to have another. On our walk in Great Langdale.

It certainly looks very 'new' Martin, I'm sure it's scampering around by now, lovely capture.
Most definitely very new born well taken. The Herdwicks must have been lambing late this year as I didn't see any the previous week. Quite a few more 'general' lambs but no Herdwicks. More proof of the changing seasons I suppose
