About 40 minute prior to this shot I was standing on top of Helm Crag. You can see the two peaks with 'The Howitzer' to the left and 'The Lion and the Lamb' a couple of hundred yards to the right. The grassy path which can seen to the right of the hill forms part of the ascent although the majority of the climb is not quite so smooth, but extremely well worth doing. On a good day the views from the top are amazing, so I am told!! but yet have to prove it to myself.
