Description

Rydal Water

Rydal Water as seen from the fells above Ambleside on the track from High Sweden Bridge. Nab Scar rising to the right and the lower slopes of Loughrigg Terrace to the left. Silver How is in mid distance with the Langdale Pikes bringing up the rear to the right. The road from Ambleside to Grasmere can just be seen to the right of Rydal Water, whilst on the left you can just make out a wall running from the waters edge towards Loughrigg Terrace. This forms part of the route from Rydal to Grasmere.

Superb, moody clouds, the water and the divided fields- great shot. I do think come the day you jack in logistics, you would make a cracking tour guide to the Lakes. ( Now there's a thought )
