About Frenchmans Creek

Frenchman's Creek is an idyllic deep thrust of water immortalised forever by the romantic novel of the same name, written by Daphne du Maurier. It lies on the Helford River and provides a haven for walkers. The romance of this famously beautiful spot is preserved by the National Trust who only permit small boats to enter the creek. For sheer beauty and the scent of romance Frenchman's Creek is a must.
