There is much to do with England's great aviation history in the County of Berkshire, and at Woodley visitors will find the interesting Museum of Aviation which is appropriately sited in Bader Way, named so to honour one of our most heroic War-time pilot's.
The museum captures the true spirit of Berkshire's contribution to aviation and there are exhibits of early aircraft such as the Miles and Handley Page aircraft built in Woodley, and an archive of fascinating pictorial records.
The museum gives demonstrations, has an active programme for schools and is a vibrant place to visit for people of all ages who have a spirit of advenure and are interested in aircraft past, present and future.
